{"id":2484,"date":"2025-07-01T17:20:48","date_gmt":"2025-07-01T20:20:48","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.jdf.cl\/?p=2484"},"modified":"2025-07-01T17:20:48","modified_gmt":"2025-07-01T20:20:48","slug":"modificacion-de-ingreso-minimo-mensual","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/jdf.cl\/en\/modificacion-de-ingreso-minimo-mensual\/","title":{"rendered":"Amendment to the Monthly Minimum Wage"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Amendment to the Monthly Minimum Wage<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<ol>\n<li class=\"translation-block\">As of May 1, 2025, the monthly minimum wage for employees aged over 18 and up to 65 years is increased to CLP $529,000.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>This law has retroactive effect; therefore, salaries and legal bonuses paid in accordance with Article 50 of the Labor Code for the month of May 2025 must be adjusted to reflect the new minimum wage.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>It is important to note that the increase in the Monthly Minimum Wage impacts:<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li class=\"translation-block\">The legal bonus cap, as the new amount must be considered to calculate the maximum of 4.75 monthly minimum wages, effective from May 2025.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li class=\"translation-block\">The amount of administrative fines imposed by the Labor Inspectorate, which are calculated based on the applicable monthly minimum wage.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<ol start=\"2\">\n<li class=\"translation-block\">Additionally, as of May 1, 2025, the following amounts are updated:<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<ol start=\"3\">\n<li>Asimismo, desde el <strong>1 de mayo de 2025<\/strong> se actualiza los valores de:<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Monthly minimum wage for employees under 18 and over 65 years: CLP $394,622. <strong>$394.622.-<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Monthly minimum wage for non-remuneration purposes: CLP $340,988<strong> $<\/strong><strong>988<\/strong><strong>.-<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p class=\"translation-block\">For further information on this matter, you may contact Alfred Sherman at asherman@jdf.cl or Leyla Alul at lalul@jdf.cl.<\/p>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>El 28 de junio de 2025 se public\u00f3 en el Diario Oficial la Ley N\u00b021.751, que reajusta el monto del ingreso m\u00ednimo mensual y modifica otras leyes que indica. &nbsp;
