As a general methodology, it applies to all types of impacts and projects or activities submitted to SEIA.<\/p>\n<p>The key aspects addressed by the Criteria include:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li class=\"translation-block\">Conceptual Framework: Defines the types of projects and activities to be considered for analyzing cumulative and synergistic impacts.<\/li>\n<li class=\"translation-block\">Scope of Cumulative and Synergistic Impacts in SEIA: Establishes the conditions under which such impacts are applicable in Environmental Impact Declarations and Environmental Impact Studies.<\/li>\n<li class=\"translation-block\">Methodology for Assessing Cumulative and Synergistic Impacts: Includes three steps\u2014defining areas of influence, integrating identified impacts, and evaluating the significance of these impacts.<\/li>\n<li class=\"translation-block\">Minimum Requirements for Monitoring Plans: Outlines the essential elements for developing plans to monitor relevant environmental variables.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Finally, SEA, through Exempt Resolution No. 202499101937 dated November 22, 2024, clarified that the Criteria will take effect upon the publication of an abstract of the Resolution in the Official Gazette, expected during the third week of February 2025.<\/p>\n<p class=\"translation-block\">For further information, you may contact Javier Naranjo (jnaranjo@jdf.cl), Mart\u00edn Esser (messer@jdf.cl), Javiera Rodr\u00edguez (jrodriguez@jdf.cl), or Mar\u00eda Paz Valenzuela (mpvalenzuela@jdf.cl).<\/p>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Con fecha 25 de noviembre de 2024, el Servicio de Evaluaci\u00f3n Ambiental (en adelante, \u201cSEA\u201d) public\u00f3 en su sitio web el \u201cCriterio de evaluaci\u00f3n en el SEIA: Metodolog\u00edas para la consideraci\u00f3n de los impactos acumulativos y sin\u00e9rgicos\u201d (en adelante, \u201cCriterio\u201d).
